Dhaka, Sept. 21 -- Pakistani radio jockey Ejaz Waris has apologised for comments about Katrina Kaif's post-pregnancy appearance after Salman Khan called out the trolling on "Bigg Boss 20".

Waris had drawn criticism after commenting on Katrina's weight following her appearance at the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebration.

Salman later addressed the criticism during "Weekend Ka Vaar", defending Katrina and questioning why people were commenting on her appearance after she had recently become a mother, Hindustan Times reports.

Waris subsequently posted a public apology, saying he had reflected on his remarks after hearing Salman speak about them.
