Dhaka, April 12 -- Dhaka's Viqarunnisa Noon School and College has started on a new schedule that features a mix of online and in-person classes.

Students of the college branch of the institution started online classes on Sunday, said Majeda Begum, the institution's acting principal.

She told bdnews24.com, "We started online classes from Sunday. The school branch is closed for three days for Baisabi, Chaudda Sankranti and the Bengali New Year.

"When this break ends, online classes will also start for students in the school branch."

A notice from the institution on Saturday said classes will be held in person on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday and online on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday as per the schedule set for the college branch.
