Dhaka, April 9 -- Gas supply to Ashulia, Savar and surrounding areas will be suspended for 24 hours from Friday morning due to urgent pipeline relocation work for the Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway construction project.

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution authorities said gas supply to all categories of customers will be suspended in the areas on both sides of the road from Ashulia TBS to Bypile from 8am on Friday to 8am on Saturday, Apr 11. There may be low gas pressure in nearby areas as well.

The areas covered by the gas shutdown include Dhaka EPZ, Malancha Power Plant, Beximco DRS or Beximco Industrial Complex, Kashimpur, Sardaganj, Haji Market, Sreepur, Chandra, Nabinagar, Savar Town, Savar Cantonment, Ulail, Bank Town, Sava...
