Dhaka, Oct. 18 -- The National Citizen Party (NCP) has cited the government's failure to establish a legal foundation or provide transparency about the implementation of the July National Charter for its refusal to sign the document.
At a media briefing at the party's office in Banglamotor on Saturday, NCP Convenor Nahid Islam said the ceremony had been organised "without ensuring the charter's legal validity or giving the public a clear understanding of its implementation process".
