Dhaka, March 7 -- National Citizen Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam has cautioned the current administration against repeating the "partisan tendencies" of the ousted Sheikh Hasina regime.
Speaking at an Iftar party at the Ambika Memorial Ground in Faridpur on Saturday, Nahid alleged that signs of politicising state institutions, including the judiciary, administration, and police, have emerged within the first month of the new government.
"We saw how state institutions had been politicised under Hasina. We are seeing the same tendencies from the start of this government," Nahid said, urging the authorities to act responsibly.
