Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- Individual taxpayers will get another month to file returns as the National Board of Revenue has pushed the deadline to file the returns to Mar 31 for the 2025-26 financial year amid administrative reshuffle.

Thursday's move marks the fourth extension for individual taxpayers.

The original deadline of Nov 30, 2025, was first extended to Dec 31, then to Jan 31, 2026, and later to Feb 28.

Filing online returns (e-return) is mandatory this year for all taxpayers.

Exceptions include those aged 65 or above, physically challenged or specially-abled individuals, Bangladeshis living abroad, legal representatives filing on behalf of deceased taxpayers, and foreign nationals working in Bangladesh -- though they may submit e-re...
