Dhaka, Oct. 19 -- The first ODI of the series against the West Indies revealed a glaring need for another left-arm spinner in the Bangladesh team, and the selectors and management have taken note.

On Sunday, left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed was added to the squad for the remaining two ODIs against West Indies.

The original 16-member squad had three spinners: captain and spinning all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam, and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain.

All three played in Saturday's opening match. Rishad starred with six wickets to lead Bangladesh to a 74-run win. Miraz's miserly quota included a wicket for just 16 runs, while Tanvir managed a single wicket while struggling to make an impact.
