Dhaka, Feb. 8 -- Senior Bangladesh JaSaD leader Mushtuq Husain has urged political parties to move away from what he described as a culture of blaming "conspiracies" after losing elections.

He made the remarks at a rally held at Dhaka University on Sunday afternoon in support of AFM Ismail Chowdhury, the Bangladesh JaSaD-nominated candidate for Dhaka-8.

"If there are irregularities in the election, we will certainly protest. But if we lose the election, we must not label it a conspiracy. We must move away from this kind of culture," Mushtuq said.

The JaSaD Standing Committee member called for national unity during the election.
