Bangladesh, Aug. 27 -- A mother and her daughter have been found dead next to a charging autorickshaw in the courtyard of a house in Chapainawabganj's Nachole Upazila.

The incident occurred at Morafela village on Wednesday morning, said Nachole Police Station chief Monirul Islam.

The dead were identified as Hawa Begum, 42, and her daughter Ayesha, 21.

Citing locals, OC Monirul said: "Alam fell asleep after plugging the autorickshaw in to charge. Around 5:30am, Hawa went to get a bag from the autorickshaw and was electrocuted. Her daughter Ayesha was also electrocuted in a bid to save her mother. Both of them died on the spot."
