Dhaka, June 9 -- Bangladesh launched their ODI series against Australia in commanding fashion, cruising to a crushing 86-run DLS victory in Dhaka.

Mosaddek Hossain led the charge with a superb 86, while Najmul Hossain Shanto struck 67 and Tanzid Hasan added 54 to propel the Tigers to a formidable 284 for 8 after being asked to bat first on Tuesday.

Australia's chase unravelled almost immediately as they lost two wickets inside the opening two overs, putting the visitors on the back foot from the outset.
