Dhaka, March 13 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is closely following updates on the health of BNP veteran leader Mirza Abbas, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital.

AZM Zahid Hossain, the minister for social welfare and women and children affairs, said: "He (Mirza Abbas) has been kept under close observation by doctors in the Neuro ICU at the hospital. The prime minister is keeping a close eye on him and is being informed about his physical condition."
