Dhaka, March 9 -- The Bangladesh government has taken the necessary measures to repatriate those accused in the murder of Inqilab Moncho convener Sharif Osman Hadi from India, the home minister says.

Salahuddin Ahmed made the remarks to the media after a meeting on the law-and-order situation in the country at the office of the Cox's Bazar deputy commissioner on Monday.

His statement comes a day after the prime suspect in the case and one of his associates were apprehended in the Indian state of West Bengal.
