Dhaka, Oct. 2 -- The Canadian fashion duo Matieres Fecales has turned Paris' Place de la Republique into an open-air runway, presenting a 99-look collection centred on immigration, marginalisation and social visibility during Paris Fashion Week.

The Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled "Ninety Nine Percent", has featured designs inspired by the experiences of immigrants and people living on the margins of society, according to Marie Claire. Designer Stephen Raj Bhaskaran has drawn on his own childhood in Montreal's multicultural environment.

The collection responded to their previous "The One Percent" show, which satirised extreme wealth and privilege, by focusing on the remaining and marginalised 99 percent.
