Bangladesh, Aug. 30 -- Police have arrested a man in Dhaka's Gulshan for allegedly posing as an assistant director of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).

The suspect has been identified as Md Saif Imran, 37.

Md Akhtar Hossain, deputy commissioner of DMP's Media and Public Relations Division, confirmed the arrest on Sunday.

According to Akhtar, Saif parked a motorcycle beside the Pakistan High Commission in Gulshan around 12:15pm on Saturday.

When police officers on duty told him that parking was not allowed there, Saif identified himself as an assistant director of the DGFI.

He also claimed that DGFI vehicles regularly parked at the location.
