Dhaka, May 8 -- The government is working on the notes of dissent raised by the BNP on some issues in the July National Charter, says Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman.

Addressing an event at the Khulna District Bar Association on Friday, he pledged that every clause of the charter will be fully realised.

"We've said in various places that every 'full stop, semicolon and comma' of the July Charter will be implemented" he said, recounting that 33 political parties signed the charter.

"However, in the interest of the country, the BNP placed notes of dissent on some issues, and the government is working while keeping those issues in mind."
