Dhaka, June 3 -- Bangladesh booked their place in the SAFF Women's Championship final with a dramatic 2-1 win over Nepal in the first semifinal in Goa.

In stoppage time on Wednesday, substitute Sagorika latched onto a brilliant pass from Shamsunnahar Jr and produced a composed finish inside the box to break Nepal's resistance at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The goal triggered jubilant celebrations on the pitch and in the dugout as Bangladesh sealed a hard-fought victory.

Ritu Porna also found the net earlier in the match, as Bangladesh repeated the 2-1 scoreline of the 2024 final against Nepal on their way to another title shot.
