Bangladesh, Aug. 13 -- Police have recovered a knife linked to the murder of a couple and their domestic aide at a home in Sylhet city.

It was found in a vacant plot beside the house around 11:30am on Thursday, said Mohammad Saiful Islam, deputy commissioner (north) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police.

Police said the weapon was recovered based on questioning of Babul Mia, 40, the sole suspect held over the triple murder.

The bodies of the three victims were recovered from House No. 111 in Mitali on Wednesday morning.

They were identified as homeowner Abdus Sattar, 90, his wife Suraiya Begum, 76, and their domestic worker Tahmina, 18.

Police said Tahmina had multiple wounds to her chest.
