Dhaka, Nov. 15 -- A Rajshahi court has granted police five days to interrogate Limon Mia in custody over the "murder" of a judge's son as prime suspect.
On Saturday at around 2:30pm, Limon was produced before the court, where the investigation officer requested a seven-day remand.
Following the hearing, Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid granted five days for questioning.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Gaziur Rahman said, "After the order, the suspect has been taken to Rajpara Police Station. Investigators will seek to determine why and how the killing occurred and whether others were involved."
