Dhaka, April 14 -- If any community in the country believes that its "good fortune lies elsewhere", Jamaat-e-Islami has no objection to it, says Md Saiful Alam Khan Milon, a member of the party's central executive committee.

Addressing a Pahela Baishakh event of a Jamaat-affiliated organisation called "Deshiya Sangskriti Sangsad" in Dhaka on Tuesday, Md Saiful Alam Khan Milon said: "We must remember that only Allah is the owner of human well-being and misfortune.

Milon, who is also the Dhaka-12 MP, said: "We must remember that only Allah is the steward of human wellbeing and misfortune.
