Bangladesh, Sept. 18 -- BNP senior leader Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has warned that instability in the country would continue until a political government was reinstated.
On Thursday, Khosru highlighted the absence of an elected government and its impact on accountability, stressing that the crisis would persist in the absence of public support for a political leadership.
He said people in Bangladesh wanted stability in the country and to gradually take it back to a democratic order, so everyone could live a safe life.
He said if the election were held soon, people would get a democratic country where the government had public support and would be politically powerful.
