Dhaka, April 8 -- Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma has met with Prime Minister's Defence Advisor Shamsul Islam to discuss bilateral defence cooperation, training, and the enhancement of regional security.
The meeting took place on Wednesday at the Armed Forces Division (AFD) Headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment, according to a media statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Verma led a four-member delegation during the discussions with the advisor.
The ISPR said both sides deliberated on strengthening existing military relations between the two neighbouring countries and explored avenues for future progress and strategic collaboration.
