Dhaka, March 11 -- The deadline for this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam registration has been extended.

Under the new schedule, students will be able to complete registration formalities until Mar 31, by paying a late charge along with registration fees.

The updated deadline was published on the Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education website on Wednesday.

Earlier, students were allowed to complete registration with regular fees from Mar 1 to Mar 9.

From Wednesday, the board permitted registration with a late fee of Tk 100 until Mar 18.
