Dhaka, Feb. 19 -- The cost of appearing for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations has increased this year, with the maximum fee for filling out the form for the exams fixed at Tk 2,995.

A notice issued on Thursday by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka informed that the form fill-up process for the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations will commence on Mar 1.

Science group students will have to pay Tk 2,995, while those from the humanities and business studies groups will be charged Tk 2,335.

Students in the humanities or business with a practical exam in their fourth or elective subject will have to count an additional payment of Tk 140, bringing their total to Tk 2,475.
