Hridoy, Litton lead Bangladesh to respectable 274 against Australia
Dhaka, June 14 -- Towhid Hridoy has led Bangladesh to 274 against Australia in the first innings of the third One-Day International (ODI) in Mirpur.
With support from wicketkeeper Litton Das (58*) and Mossadek Hossain (56*), Hridoy played a responsible innings to steer the Tigers to a good score on a tough pitch.
Pacer Xavier Bartlett (2-42) started the innings by bowling out opener Soumya Sarkar for 2. Off-spinner Matt Renshaw piled on the pressure by snapping up the wickets of Tanzid Hasan (19) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (24), to leave Bangladesh at 61-3 in the 15th over.
