Bangladesh, Sept. 18 -- Bangladesh's Senior Secretary of Home Affairs Nasimul Ghani has left for a nine-day trip to Pakistan to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

He arrived at Islamabad International Airport in Pakistan on a Thai Airways flight on Wednesday night, a press release from the Ministry of Home Affairs said.

Upon arrival at the airport, he was received by Pakistan's Special Secretary to the Ministry of Interior Dawood Muhammad Bareach, and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Md Iqbal Hussain Khan.
