Dhaka, May 2 -- Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has ordered all police stations across Bangladesh, including those in the capital, to be cleared of alleged brokers, warning that strict action will follow any negligence or corruption within the force.

The directive came during his visit to Ramna Model Police Station in Dhaka on Saturday, where he instructed senior officers and relevant personnel to ensure proper service delivery, according to a media statement.

He urged all officers on duty to serve citizens with honesty, fairness, and sincerity, stressing that public trust depends on the integrity of frontline policing.
