Dhaka, June 16 -- Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College (HFRCMC) has launched Bangladesh's first institutional measles treatment guideline, aimed at standardising diagnosis and care within the facility.

No hospital or medical institution in the country has put together a similar evidence-based protocol before.

The guideline was formally launched at a ceremony held at the college auditorium on Tuesday morning.

At the event, Assistant Professor of Community Medicine Farhana Haque gave a presentation on the hospital and dedicated the clinical guideline to Dr Zubaida Rahman, cardiologist and wife of the orime minister.
