Dhaka, April 22 -- Chelsea winger Estevao's chances of playing for Brazil at this summer's World Cup are in doubt after a season-ending hamstring injury, BBC Sport reports.
The 18-year-old was forced off in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Manchester United after pulling up, with scans later confirming a hamstring strain that rules him out of Chelsea's remaining matches this season.
The setback casts uncertainty over his place in Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil squad for the tournament in North America, although sources close to the player told BBC Sport he is expected to be fit in time.
It remains unclear, however, whether Ancelotti will risk selecting him without match fitness ahead of the group stage.
