Dhaka, June 8 -- Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon has said four new subjects will be incorporated into the new national curriculum the government plans to introduce from 2028.

Under the proposal, two subjects related to sports and culture will be taught from Class 4. From Class 6, students will study "Technical and Vocational Education" and "Learning with Happiness".

The new curriculum will also place greater emphasis on third-language learning alongside Bangla and English.

A "major chapter" on the subject may be added to an existing course.

Speaking at a press conference at the Secondary and Higher Education Division at the Secretariat on Monday, Milon outlined different plans for the new curriculum.
