Dhaka, June 22 -- The government has set the wheels in motion to reconstitute the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), forming a five-member search committee 110 days after the watchdog's top posts fell vacant.

The Cabinet Division on Monday formed a five-member panel to recommend candidates for ACC commissioner posts under Section 7 of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2004.

Justice Md Rezaul Haque of the Appellate Division will head the selection panel.

The other members are High Court Division Justice Razik Al Jalil, the comptroller and auditor general (CAG) of Bangladesh, the chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), and the cabinet secretary.
