Dhaka, Sept. 22 -- Google has opened pre-orders for its new Googlebook laptop at $899, introducing a device designed around its Gemini artificial intelligence system, according to TechCrunch.

The laptop runs on Android OS with a desktop version of Chrome and incorporates familiar ChromeOS features. Google is presenting it as a step beyond conventional Chromebooks by integrating AI into everyday computer functions.

TechCrunch reported that one of the main features is Magic Cursor, an AI-powered pointer that can highlight webpage content, check emails for potential scams and work with selected images through Gemini.
