Dhaka, Oct. 23 -- Jatiya Party chief GM Quader has said bdnews24.com continues to stand for truth despite facing numerous obstacles.

He made the remarks on Thursday evening at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden during the celebration of bdnews24.com's 19th anniversary.

"I've followed bdnews24.com for many years," he said.

"Even under the previous government, it played a very courageous role over a long period. Despite all the hurdles, they continue to present the truth.

"Among the media outlets that remain, I believe this one strives to work with a fair degree of independence."
