Dhaka, April 25 -- A pall of grief has descended on the ancestral home of Zamil Ahamed Limon, the Bangladeshi doctoral student at the University of South Florida who was found dead in the United States.
Although no immediate family members now live at the ancestral home in Laldoba village of Karaichara Union in Jamalpur's Madarganj Upazila, his uncle, aunt and other relatives remain there.
Limon, 27, had been missing since last week.
Police recovered his body from the Howard Frankland Bridge in Florida on Friday.
His uncle Ziaul Islam said Limon's father Jahurul Haque moved to Dhaka with his family in 1994.
Since then, they have lived in the capital, though they visited the village from time to time.
