Dhaka, March 6 -- The ground floor wall of a three-storey building has collapsed due to an explosion caused by a leak from a Titas Gas line in Narayanganj.

The explosion occurred in a jute warehouse in the city's West Deobhog on Friday evening, said Md Shahjahan, senior station officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence Mandalpara Station.

Jute businessman Shipon, his employee Liton, and house tenant Sogir, all identified with single names, were burnt in the incident.

Locals and Fire Service members said a loud explosion occurred in the jute warehouse around 7:15pm, causing multiple parts of the ground floor walls, doors and windows to collapse.
