Dhaka, Feb. 18 -- Four people have died in separate electrocution incidents in Sherpur and Chandpur.
In Sherpur's Nokla Upazila, two farmers were killed and another man critically injured after coming into contact with a live electric wire that had snapped and fallen into a paddy field.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in Puladeshi village, said Nokla Police Station chief (OC) Ripon Chandra Gop.
The dead were identified as Mintu Mia, 55, and Angur, 50.
Another villager, Samirul, 60, was seriously injured and later transferred to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
