Dhaka, June 3 -- Four Bangladeshis are among those injured in an Iranian drone strike targeting Kuwait's main international airport.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Kuwait issued a media statement on Wednesday, confirming that the injured Bangladeshis have been admitted to the local Farwaniya Hospital.

The embassy added that it is closely monitoring their health status and treatment.

However, the embassy did not disclose the names or identities of the injured nationals.

The statement said Kuwait's airspace had recently come under multiple drone and missile attacks amid the ongoing regional crisis in West Asia.
