Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- Police have arrested four suspects over the abduction of a schoolboy, who was rescued within an hour following steps taken by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
Police say the gang has 10 to 12 members who lure teenage boys with drugs and other temptations before demanding ransom.
Ramna Division Deputy Commissioner Masud Alam disclosed the details at a press briefing at the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Media Centre on Thursday afternoon.
The arrestees are Tanvir Ahmed alias Fahim, 23, Ishraq Yamin Likhon, 20, Hasan Al Banna, alias Haslam, 21, and Mostafizur Rahman Punjo, 22.
