Dhaka, April 13 -- The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has ordered that retired lieutenant general Sheikh Mamun Khaled, a former director general (DG) of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), be shown arrested in a case involving enforced disappearances and crimes against humanity.
A three-member bench of ICT-2, led by Justice Nozrul Islam Chowdhury, also permitted the investigation agency to take the retired three-star general into their custody (Safe Home) for two days of questioning.
The other two members of the bench are Md Manjurul Bashid and Nur Mohammad Shahriar Kabir.
