Dhaka, May 16 -- An IndiGo flight from New Delhi has been briefly stranded at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport after a pilot noticed a "fox".

An airport official said the flight paused for nearly a minute on Wednesday.

The airport's Executive Director SM Ragib Samad, however, said he was unaware of the incident.

Despite attesting to wildlife presence at the airport, Samad said he had yet to receive any reports involving a fox.

The pilot of India's largest airline, who claimed to have seen the fox, sought help from the airport's control tower while heading from the taxiway to the terminal.

Subsequently, airport crew stationed at the tower went to the scene, but found no fox there.
