Dhaka, March 4 -- After four days of treatment, Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has returned home from Gulshan's United Hospital.

On Wednesday, his personal assistant Shahiduzzaman said doctors advised the minister to rest, though he continues urgent official work from home.

"He managed critical official duties even while in hospital, and now he is doing the same from home," said Shahiduzzaman.

Khosru, also the planning minister, was elected to parliament from Chattogram-11 in the election.

The BNP's Standing Committee member had been admitted to hospital on Mar 1 after testing positive for pneumonia.
