Bangladesh, May 30 -- A father and his son have died after a pickup truck collided head on with a CNG-powered autorickshaw in Mymensingh's Sadar Upazila.

The accident took place around 9:30am on Saturday in the Alalpur area of the Mymensingh-Phulpur road, said Sub Inspector (SI) Farid Ahmed of the Kotwali Model Police Station.

The dead were identified as Jahangir Alam and his two-and-a-half-year-old son Rohan. They were passengers in the auto-rickshaw.

SI Farid said the autorickshaw was heading towards Phulpur with passengers. On the way, as it approached the Alalpur area on the Mymensingh-Phulpur road, the auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a pickup truck coming from the opposite direction.
