Dhaka, March 3 -- Moscow has condemned the US-Israeli attacks on Iran, describing them as an act of aggression and called for an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation.
On Saturday, the United States and Israel carried out airstrikes inside Iran, killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei along with several senior commanders.
Tehran retaliated by firing missiles and deploying drones against US bases across the Middle East.
US President Donald Trump defended the operation as necessary to dismantle Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programmes, while Iranian authorities insisted their uranium enrichment was solely for civilian purposes and labelled the strikes unprovoked.
