Dhaka, June 6 -- Police have filed an Anti-Terrorism Act case over a Bangladesh Chhatra League rally and procession in Fatikchhari, naming ex-mayor Manjur Alam, ex-MP Khadizatul Anwar Sony and others among the suspects.

The case names 119 people, filed with Fatikchhari Police on Friday night.

Police have so far arrested three individuals in connection with the incident.

Fatikchhari Police chief Md Rabiul Alam said, "A case has been filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act over a meeting and procession organised by the banned organisation Chhatra League. Twenty-nine people have been named in the case."

He added, "So far, three people, including Zaman Babu and Saiful Islam, have been arrested."
