Dhaka, April 6 -- A former Jubo Dal leader has accused ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina of orchestrating his enforced disappearance, alleging he was abducted from Dhaka airport and held in secret detention for six months.

Mashiur Rahman Mamun filed the complaint with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Monday after a closed-door meeting with Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Aminul Islam.

Speaking to reporters later, he said he was picked up by plainclothes law-enforcing officers on Feb 23, 2015, while preparing to travel to Bangkok from Shahjalal International Airport.

He alleged that he was blindfolded and handcuffed before being taken to an undisclosed location, where he remained for the entirety of his detention.
