Dhaka, March 9 -- After missing out on the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh now face Pakistan in a three-match ODI series in Dhaka.
Pakistan's squad, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, arrived on Sunday, after Head Coach Mike Hesson and support staff had reached on Saturday.
This is Pakistan's first ODI series in Bangladesh in 11 years.
Last year, their tour featured only T20Is, while the 2021 series only had T20Is and Tests. In 2015, the teams played a full series including T20Is, ODIs, and Tests.
Originally planned as a multi-format tour, Pakistan's Super League commitments have reduced this visit to ODIs, with two Tests scheduled for May.
