Bangladesh, Aug. 28 -- The Election Commission (EC), led by AMM Nasir Uddin, has finalised a detailed action plan ahead of the 13th general election.
Among more than two dozen tasks outlined, the plan includes dialogue with political parties and other stakeholders starting in the last week of September.
Although the polling day and election schedule have not yet been fixed, the plan has been drawn up with voting tentatively set for the first half of February.
The commission approved the action plan on Wednesday, and EC Secretary Akhtar Ahmed presented its details at a press conference at the EC building on Thursday afternoon.
