Dhaka, May 13 -- ‎All levels of educational institutions in Bangladesh are set to go on a prolonged break for Eid-ul-Azha and summer vacation under the official academic calendar.

Students will have their last classroom day on May 21, a Thursday, while holidays formally begin on May 24 after the weekend break on May 22 and 23.

‎According to the holiday schedule, all government and private primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, and technical institutes will remain closed from May 24 to Jun 4.

Classes will resume on Jun 7, a Sunday, after the weekly holidays on Jun 5 and Jun 6, giving students a continuous break of around 16 days, including weekends.
