Dhaka, March 30 -- Eden Mohila College, one of the oldest educational institutions in Dhaka, is looking to resume higher secondary education after nearly three decades after it was suspended.

Principal Prof Hosne Ara Parveen said the college had applied to the education ministry on Mar 3 to restart classes for grades 11 and 12.

The move comes despite the college currently managing over 24,000 students across 23 departments at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Responding to queries over managing additional students alongside its existing academic load, she said the college previously offered higher secondary education with strong results.
