Dhaka, April 26 -- The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved 14 development projects with an estimated cost of Tk 134.45 billion.

The approval came during the second ECNEC meeting under the current BNP-led government, held Sunday at the Secretariat.

Out of the total expenditure, the government will provide Tk 80.89 billion from its own funds, while Tk 53.40 billion will come as project loans.

The remaining Tk 155.9 million will be financed by each implementing agency.

The approved list includes five new projects, five revised ones, and four projects with extended deadlines.
