Dhaka, Dec. 10 -- The schedule for the 13th parliamentary election and the third referendum will be announced on Thursday.

Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin will announce the schedule in a speech.

Election Commission Secretary Akhtar Ahmed confirmed the matter, saying: "The honourable CEC will deliver a speech to the nation at 6pm on Thursday, the 11th of December, to announce the schedule."

Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar employees have already recorded the announcement for broadcast.
